Works great
I got this specific sun lamp for the several brightness settings, and design. It is much more interesting to look at than the tablets. It was worth the extra 15+ compared to the others I looked at because of this.I decided to get a sun lamp since I live in an area where it gets dark at 4pm and during Nov-Mar it makes me feel very tired, unmotivated, and generally more depressed than usual. I hesitated for many years because I doubted it would work, but it works great.It takes a few days to feel the full effects, I use mine for an hour or two each day. It definitely lightens the room and makes me feel less crummy when I miss going outside for some sun.I have been using it to wake up, and it works great. It also helps my pet parrots.It is very bright, sometimes too bright on the lowest setting. My picture is the highest. I have the same complaint about the sun as well, if it wasnt so bright it wouldnt work. I will definitely use it in the summer as well, because I have a sun sensitivy/allergy and do not always want to deal with the rashes. This doesnt give me rashes, and it seems to wake me up and keep me more awake than the sun. It doesn’t get too hot, which I like.

Great and super pretty product!!
I definitely liked this new lamp a lot! First, the design is really, so it looks very nice on my night table. Also you can choose between yellow, mid or white light. It has timer, so you can have it turn it off by itself. And you also have the way to choose how bright you want the light. Super easy to install. I definitely recommend it!!

It DOES have warm white, long press power
Just wanted to say, read the Q&As not just the reviews. There are instructions how to turn it warm white, by long pressing power, though cool white was the default setting when I turned it on. Just wanted to give comfort to anyone that panicked thinking it doesn’t have that setting, it does, and it’s exactly as pictured.It is very, very bright on the highest cool setting.It’s very lightweight, not a substantial lamp for decor, but I think it will do the job. In happy with my purchase and might recommend it if someone was looking for such things in this style (some might prefer a utilitarian looking model).Docked one star because I’m not sure it’s an economical purchase, for the quality of lamp, but cute enough that I splurged on it.

Stylish and effective lamp!
LOVE this lamp! I love the stylish design, and I love that it is lightweight, portable and easy to set up. Feels sturdy in spite of being lightweight. It’s easy to move around the house with me as I don’t always spend time in the same place every morning (though I did just buy a second light to help with that!).I’ve tried so many other lights and ultimately returned them because they were just too ugly and space inefficient for my home.Have just started using it, starting to feel a little peppier in my step and life. Since its not a total eyesore in my home I will use it long enough to see how I feel long term.——-UPDATE 2025-06-23I’ve been using this light solidly for a month and a half and it is life changing! I’m happy, I no longer require naps, I wake naturally earlier and sleep earlier (which was a goal of mine).The change has been so significant I even recommend this for people who may think they get enough light – I didn’t realize the significant impact this has on our well being. Unless you’re completely drenched in light all day you may not be getting enough light.Highly recommend this very stylish, sturdy, lightweight light.

Update from 12-2025: this light is still working wonderfully!!Oct. 2024: I live in the West with true seasons I purchased this after some serious seasonal depressive episodes. I am a sunshine girl and it really helps my brain 🧠 😎 by turning it on in the mornings. It kind of tricks my brain into sunshine. Many light settings and could not go wrong. It really has helped, not the only thing to help, but has made days better overall. 2nd pic is the warm light, nice for early mornings and this does not hurt your 👀. 3rd is the blue light and you can adjust less or more with a timer! Lightweight, long cord

My favorite lamp in the house.
It took me a long time to figure out I had SAD, as I’m someone who historically speaking has really loved fall and winter. My body however doesn’t agree and really plunges health-wise during those months. I’ve owned a couple of lamps designed to help with that, but absolutely none of them have inspired the kind of love I have for this one. I’m a huge fan of this design more than anything: kind of reminds me of the Ivory Tower a bit from the Neverending Story, which was why I was initially drawn to it over the others available at the time. It exudes gentleness and I feel measurably better when I have it near me. For the money, it’s a no-brainer honestly, I find this price extremely reasonable for the relief I get from it. Its footprint is small enough that it’s fit easily on any surface I’ve moved it to without any issue, and the cord is long enough to give you some flexibility as to how high you want it. I want to say I’ve had this unit for a couple of years with no sign of wearing out despite daily use, so positive marks for longevity.I don’t know, I guess I’m a biased judge, but I’m serious, I really rely on this thing. Out of all the ones I’ve tried, this one still reigns supreme for me.
