Provides excellent light, mobile/rechargeable, long lasting, great value
Excellent light for light therapy. The only 2 things this doesn’t have that you might want are a variable adjust “alarm” or on setting. As it is, you can choose for it to turn on in 6, 7, or 8 hrs. My sleep cycle requires 9-10, so I can’t make much use of this feature. Increments 2 hrs and under, as well as 9 & 10 would be nice for napping and for longer sleep cycles, IMOAdditionally, this only had 1 color temperature. It is tasted at 6500k, so this works for me, but I know sometimes a warmer light can be nice. For the price, this is excellent value, and I love how easy to use it is, as well as it’s portability and long battery life. How long? I’m not positive, but I’ve used it all day at my desk and I’ve used it for several hours on multiple days without the battery dying, so it’s sufficient for me.

Right size works great
I like the size of the lamp. It doesn’t take up much space and the stand on the back of it unless it sit nicely and shine towards me. The plug-in is on the side and does not get in the way. I like that it is portable and I can unplug it once it’s charged and take it to another room or put it where there’s no outlet. I use it everyday for 30 minutes as my doctor recommended and on winter cloudy days I often use it for another hour. The timer functions work great and the three settings for the brightness is also nice. Wanted to wait to review it until I had been using it for a couple of months and it’s working great.

Helpful for SAD – Compact and Convenient
Helpful for SAD – Compact and ConvenientI have SAD and by February, I’m usually at my worst. My therapist recommended investing in a light therapy lamp, and this one has been great for keeping on my desk. The compact size doesn’t take up much room, which is perfect for my workspace. It holds its charge for a good amount of time, or you can keep it plugged in. Really glad I made this purchase.

Not happy
It worked for a few minutes, then it would not stay on at all. I charged it according to the instruction, but I could not make any sense of the instructions other than to charge it. After pressing the first button, it would come on a few second, and I mean seconds, and then it would turn off. ok, I tried the second button, the same thing. Also, with the third button. So, I figure it must be tapping this button and quickly tap the next one kind of thing, but that did not work. I am flustered with this thing and can’t be bothered to give it anymore of my time to try and make it work. I also thought for some reason, I just assume it would have some kind of timer you could set it to come on in the morning, but that is not the case. It does have a timer on how long it would stay on, but if you are thinking, it is going to come on in the A.M. to wake you with bright, daylight, forget it. This is not the case. I must have not read through the comments carefully, or perhaps it does have a wake-up function, but I just can’t figure that out as well. As far as the lights go, it is bright.

Good, but plug placement…
I wanted this because of the price and portability. I’ve been using it daily for about 3 week & here are my thoughts:PROS:+ It is small enough to tuck into my briefcase. It’s very lightweight.+ The lighting is powerful.+ It was easy to set up & use right out of the box.+ I comes with a brick for the USB cord.CONS:- It glitched (see the video) for a brief while the first time I turned it on and tried to adjust the brightness level. That seems to be due to cheap buttons.- The stand doesn’t lock into place. The lamp will have to be placed on a surface firm enough to keep the stand open.- The USB is in the most awkward place. It’s on the left bottom side of the lamp, low enough that it gets in the way. To place this on my writing desk, I had to put it in a cell phone stand. Otherwise, the USB plug is blocked by the edge of the table. And you cannot rotate the USB, it only works plugged in the awkward way.- IMO, there is not a lot of difference between the lighting levels.- The battery doesn’t last as long as I’d like before needing a recharage – which I hate because of where the plug is.Considering the fact that this was just short of $30, I didn’t expect it to be perfect, but I would like better stand and USB placement. To solve the issue, I either use my cellphone stand or prop the light some other way,

You’ll love the convenience
This is the only rechargeable therapy light I have ever found. It’s great to be able to position it wherever I want. Previously I have been tied to an outlet or had to use awkward extension cords. This is much better!

I was reasonably happy with this lamp – it’s very small, but bright – but I returned it simply because nowhere does it state on the packaging, or elsewhere, that it blocks UV light. It may do so, but I do not want to risk using a lamp that doesn’t block UV. I have replaced it with another brand that clearly states that it blocks UV light.

I love the rechargeable part of this lamp. Super easy to move from various locations. Battery life does not last as long as manufacturer states. I get maybe 3-3.5 hours using it on the low mode. I wish it had a lock button as the small buttons turn on very easily. Bought it because of the rechargeable feature. Overall happy with it. Just charge it more than I thought I would have to.
