    Awesome watch and great value
Counts steps and it keeps track of the heart rate. Great light and has a notch in the band that keeps it in place on the wrist. Its classy and looks great on. Easy to use and doesn’t irritate my wrist at all and I have very sensitive skin.

HEART RATE MONITOR DOES NOT WORK
I purchased this watch twice. One of the timesAmazon sold me a used watch. I don’t want someone’s sweaty, fitness watch…Aside from that, color is deeply inaccurate. First ordered the plum colored one to find out it’s hot pink. Gross. Then ordered the “blue” watch, which looks in the picture like a dark navy almost black. Turns out it’s bright turquois green with pink buttons. I’m keeping it because I’m done being yanked around over a cheap watch, but I’m feeling hoodwinked on color. The size is perfect and as described. I would describe it as medium small face. Plenty of adjustability in the watch band for larger and smaller wrists. The heart rate monitor does not work. I’ve tried it 20 times. One time it gave me a reading that said my wresting heart rate (normally around 60-70) was 200. The rest of the time it gave no reading or “do not move”. Note that I never moved. I was as still as I possibly could be. If it did work, you need to push and hold the button for 10 seconds while remaining perfectly still. Which makes the feature completely useless if you were working out.The pedometer is not accurate. Off by as much as 30%.Not a good watch.

the HR thing and pedometer don’t work right
I was looking FOREVER for a smart watch/fitness tracker where I could turn off Bluetooth (to minimize EMF exposure) and fit my very small wrist, and be in my budget.essentially all the smart watches are pretty big (38 mm or larger), bulky, and you can’t turn off Bluetooth. So i finally opted for just a digital watch, that has a pedometer, and a BONUS HR monitor thing.Unfortunately, the HR monitor is really just a gimmick. I can only get it to work maybe 1 out of 3 times I try it. You have to be standing still, your finger and or wrist have to be moist, and you have to push that button for 10 seconds or longer. So it doesn’t really work for quickly checking your heart rate while you’re exercising. And something about my skin just doesn’t work with it…I am right handed, so the watch is on my left wrist. The pedometer unfortunately gets set off by my hand/wrist movement, as well as walking. I was putting lotion on my legs, and it counted that as steps! So it’s definitely WAY~~ over-estimating my daily step activity, and I can’t say by how much. (sitting here typing is not getting counted as steps! hurray for small victories!)And it is also kind of big on my wrist… but arrggghhh… i needed a watch. so I’m just going to keep it.

Just above basic – updated –
I bought this watch specifically because I wanted a wearable step counter without the extras of a smart watch (so no bluetooth, wifi, or apps). It’s just above a basic digital watch, which is perfect for my needs. I did have to Google set up instructions to change the date & time as well as inputting some basic height and weight data. I’m sure it’s used to more accurately estimate calories burned (which is also displayable). As compared to my phone’s set tracker, the numbers are close enough. Since I don’t always have my phone on me, the watch does have a higher step count for today by about 800. Overall, it’s exactly what I wanted.-Update-So I’ve had this watch for just over a month (9/11 to 10/21) and I’m dropping my review from 5 to 4 stars. It still counts steps and keeps track of time which are the two major functions I wanted. But unfortunately the back light function broke. In complete darkness, when I press the button to light it, you can see a small blue light in the corner, but the screen remains dark. So you can’t read the time when it’s dark. All other functions seem to work. I’ve worn this watch daily since I got it and have done nothing extreme that could have cause damage. I expected a Timex watch to hold up better.

    Classic Timex doesn’t disappoint.
When my Apple Watch died, I decided not to get another smart watch; however, I liked keeping track of my steps. This Watch does a very good job of that, and records for up to 7 days of steps. The battery lasted about a year-which was all right. (2032 battery, also used in my car key fob). I forgot how nice it was not to have to charge my watch every other day. The back, where one replaces the battery, is not quite as sturdy as I would’ve liked. Be careful using anything remotely sharp to untwist the backing. It’s sensitive and will shred the plastic material. I was able to file it down and soften it, but I’ll have to be careful when replacing my battery in a year or so.Very happy with my purchase, I’ll likely buy one again just like this. The Rose Gold has held up well over a year, the colors are nice, and it’s lightweight. I also like the Water resistance feature! Bathtub, pool, lake, ocean, handwashing-the Iron Man watch can handle it. The button commands are a little different from previous years in Ironman watches(due to step count addition feature), but pretty easy to figure. Happy step-counting customer. *pic show 21-k steps

Great watch for about 3 months
Great watch until it wasn’t. Good for step counter. Downside is that it resets at 9000, so kindof difficult to keep track of actual daily steps. After about 5 months of use, started to have issue with watch making loud beeping sound and then resetting itself. So at least I or 3 times a week I had to reset the time and alarms.Contacting manufacturers for warranty.

It’s exactly what I wanted – a watch that counts steps and can read my heart rate. It doesn’t need charging because it has an easy to change battery. I don’t miss all the fuss of trying to sync and update my old fitbit. It feels good to go back to a Timex.

Lo pedí para mí esposa, quien lo utiliza en vez de usar el pulsometro, pero además le da un uso cotidiano y yo la veo muy contenta pues es idóneo para el carrillón que le da.

Garbage watch and garbage customer service. I have bought this same watch TWICE (stupid me) in two years. After the first one broke I bought a new one. The second failed after jumping in a lake (supposed to be water resistant to 50m) while still under warranty. Rather than replacing it, I’m told I have to send it in to be repaired FOR A FEE which could take 2-3 months “at most”. What a joke.
