Very nice looking product with a lot of potential, but hard to use as instructed
This is really nice looking and seems to be well made and durable. I love that it’s made out of bamboo, and the word breathe engraved on the side is a nice touch. This is something that I could wear everyday and not be worried about how it looks (it’s long enough to tuck inside of your shirt if you wanted to, though).However, on to how it works. I have pretty bad anxiety, which I take medication for, but even with the medication, I still have a lot of issues with it. I’ve never used anything for controlled breathing before, but I’ve read that it’s supposed to really help, so I ordered this to give it a try.I followed the instructions on how to use it (breathe deeply in through your nose for 4 seconds, hold your breath for 7 seconds, and exhale through the necklace for 8 seconds. Do this 4 times). That is really not as easy as it sounds (at least for me – I don’t quite get why you have to hold your breath rather than just let it out slowly right away). Maybe you have to get used to doing this or something, because all it did for me was give me a headache and make it harder to breathe normally afterward. It seems to do the opposite of what it should and cause anxiety rather than ease it.I have gone and read other reviews on this product, because I really wanted to love it and I was really hoping that it wasn’t just a bad product altogether. From what I’ve read, it does work for a lot of people, so I’m going to stick with it for awhile and hope that it will work for me after I get used to it. If not, I’m going to try different ways of using it to help me control my breathing when needed. I do believe that just knowing that its there and that you can breathe through it slowly, using whatever method you come up with to help you, is a good thing, and if different people find different ways to use it and achieve the same end result, then the product is still a win.In the meantime, though, I’ve removed one star for the fact that it just seems so hard to do it correctly using their instructions and get any results, but I’m leaving the other 4 stars because it is a well made, nice looking product that definitely has potential to help, even if I have to make up my own way to use it for my benefit.

This is such a great buy! It is natural so I feel good bout using it. It is very cute! I have been asked about it by so many people. Still figuring this out…
I’m still trying to figure out if this is working for me. I decided to try this to see if it would help regulate my breathing when I am a little out of sorts. Some days just seem to be too much, with work, running errands, raising a family, you know just all of what life throws at us. On those days I just feel that I can’t keep up, and I notice my stress gets to be a little much, so I was told about this little tool and decided to give it a go. I am not really sure if it’s helping or not, on the days that I have used it I need to remind myself to do mindful breathing and not blow in it like a tuba, lol 🙂 I will say on first impression it comes in a very nice box, one could even give as a gift. The breathing tool is made out of bamboo so it seems to be durable and that it will hold up for some time. I was not fond of the chain that it came with, it is just meh in my opinion & for me even a thin leather rope would work well for this. I thought the “breathe” inscription on it is a nice reminder but I could take it or leave it. I guess if you are familiar with these then you may find this as a great tool, since it is all new to me, I’m still on the fence with it.
