Quality comparable to the brand names like sleep Hatch
Easy to set up, great sound, light, small enough to fit on any size table. The dimmable light is great, I keep mine on the lowest setting but like that I can turn it up with the app if I’m with my little one. I like the time to wake options. I have a sleep hatch sound machine and got this one for my second child and the quality for the cost has been great!

This sound machine is amazing! My baby sleeps so much better since I started using it. The sounds are very soothing — I especially love the white noise and lullabies. The night light is soft and calming, perfect for nighttime feedings without waking the baby completely.It’s easy to control, has great volume options, and connects to the app, which makes everything super convenient. I love it! It has a great variety of nature sounds, melodies, shushing, womb sounds, as well as white, pink & brown noise. The light feature is also nice, you can dim it or make it as bright as you’d like and it also gives you the option to choose from different colors. The time feature is a plus perfect for night feedings or if you have kids in school. It has alarm, timer & child lock settings as well and the sound quality is amazing!

Great, but you need an app.
I love this, much cheaper than the “known” brand but seems to do the same things if not better. The only thing I absolutely hate is that you HAVE to download an app to set it up and use. And it’s not an app specifically for the sound machine, it’s like a smart home app that you can connect multiple things to I guess, it seemed very weird to me. Once it’s set up in the app I can just walk into my baby’s room and use the buttons on the top which is great though, I don’t have to use the app for day to day use. I love that there are tons of different sounds to choose from and the volume options are great.

We have had the Dream Egg for about 2 weeks now and we love it. I got it as a cheaper alternative to the Hatch Rest+, which we also have, and it’s great. It is super easy to set up. You can set routines, control it remotely and there’s a TON of different sound options and colors. The overall quality is very very similar to the Hatch. One detail that differs is that this has to be connected to a power source while the Hatch has an internal battery where you could carry it as a nightlight or it can keep going in the event of a power outage. This does not have that option, but we so far have not minded. I would say the sleep quality is equivalent to other sound machines. My newborn sleeps great and we are currently only using this one for naptimes in her bedroom since she still sleeps in our room. The light is very bright and the sound can go pretty loud as well. I really like that this has the buttons on top and the sides that allow you to easily adjust things and choose other sound options versus the Hatch where you have to use the app unless your just adjusting sound volume or light level. I don’t usually write reviews, but this one has impressed me so much, I had to brag on it. The app also allowed you to connect it to an Alexa or Google home product so you can control it that way, which is not a function that the Hatch has, that I know of. Overall, SO worth it for the relatively low cost!!

I absolutely love this night light/sound machine. We also have a Hatch but this light beats that one. I love the app and all of the different sounds to choose from. I love being able to have the customer preset options to click on quickly for night time feeds! 10/10 recommend!!

Helps Me Sleep
I use the Dreamegg on my bedside table as a nightlight. It has adjustable settings for light colors and intensity which can be operated manually or by the app. I use the brown noise feature to cancel out unwanted sounds while I sleep. I like that it’s a small unit and also that the time is illuminated at night so I never have to fumble for my phone or watch to check the time. I am pleased with it.

Skip the Hatch
We loved our son’s so much we had to buy another one for our new daughter. We were going to get a Hatch but decided to go with this and we are so glad we did. So much cheaper and does all the same things. It only pairs with one device at a time so we just are both signed in on the same account to get around that. We use it as a night light but also a “can get up” light in the morning for our toddler.

I bought this two months ago and since then my quality of sleep has improved. A few notes where the description does not explain in detail:-Comes with an app which is easy to use (if you’re familiar with the latest WiFi connectivity methods for standard sync’ing)-The app has 6 modes which can be scheduled for start and end time with noise level and as well as light level.Buying a second one for the cyber Monday as a gift to an elderly.

I used to have a first generation Hatch Rest but gave it away when I thought I was done having kids. Fast forward a few years and another baby later, and even something like this again. But Hatch complicated their product and created a subscription, and my overtired brain couldn’t handle it. So I returned it and found this instead. Much simpler and easier. Exactly what I was looking for. My 2.5 year old loves yelling that her light is blue in the morning. She can choose the colour for her naps. I can control with my phone. Easy peasy.
