This is the sweetest combo clock/sound machine! The size is perfect for sharing space with nightstand lamp, books & puppy treats. I’ve done without a bedside clock for years because the clock lights have always been too bright for my pleasure. This one is adjustable from very dim (my preference), though visible in a totally dark room to plenty bright enough to be easily seen in a fully daylit room. The variety of sounds is amazing & clearly discernable as to the actual nature sounds. Beautifully packaged. Quick delivery. Very comfortably priced. Highly Recommend!

DreamEgg Sound machine alarm clock review.I finally decided to remove the G**gle home from beside my bed and my HEAD because while it tracked my sleep….i think it negatively effected my sleep.So the hunt for a NEW clock with an alarm began. This item was on a little bit of a special deal when i got it at about $22 us dollars. Not bad.It had the basic functions i wanted (alarm, snooze and time) with addition of sound/white noise but lacked radio, and battery backup.It had good reviews and i think i have a small sound machine from this company that’s worked well for years so i decided to go for this one.The size is compact but the size of the clock display is not small. I really like that it requires LITTLE space and i like the round compact design.The directions are clear and it is easy to setYou can set 24 (military) or 12 hr time and am/pm of courseYou can only turn the alarm ON or OFF; there are NO dual alarms and no ability to set it on some days and off other days….so if you are using this for different times to wake or sleep this may not be your favorite machine.For me, I still rely on my phone to do the major alarms and this is a back up. I would PREFER if it did have a backup battery option but that wasn’t a deal killer for me.The light of the clock has 3 or 4 bright/dim options as well as different color options which is a nice touch. The plug is capable of usb or a USA outlet and that is also a nice feature.The SOUND machine has a good variety and the ALARM tones are also very nice and soothing to annoying (you pick your best one!)I think that i’ll be getting my money’s worth from this as long as it keeps working. No issues so far (it’s been a week)I think it’s good quality (my sony dream machine lasted decades!) so i hope and would EXPECT that this should last at least 3-5 or more years.Very happy with this in most respects and would recommend it.It is not for everyone but if you need a basic alarm that you don’t need at multiple alarm times, it should suit you just fine and also be a relaxing way to arise (i like the birds and the soothing chime like “alarms” the best)Recommended!

Solved a LOT of our bedtime problems
Why we love it:First of all, there are so many sound options, it’s crazy! When we were first figuring it out, we wanted to hear all the sounds and I was seriously impressed by all the choices. I mean, campfire? Really? I never would have thought of that, but it’s absolutely delightful.The nightlight feature is so handy. Our 5 year old has a minimum of 4 nightlights in his room at all times. It seems excessive to me, but he says he needs them. So when we had to unplug one of this nightlights to plug this sound machine it, I was very grateful that it had its own nightlight.I think my favorite feature is the timer. Our 3 year old has a sound machine that works well for him, but never shuts off. I’ve forgotten about it many times, only to head upstairs in the middle of the day and hear random, kinda creepy, heartbeats coming from his room. Our 5 year old set the timer on his Dreamegg machine for 90 minutes and I don’t have to worry about remembering to turn it off.It’s sleek. It works great for kids, but you can easily put it in an office or your own bedroom and it would fit in just fine. I like to have background noise. I usually ask Alexa to nature sounds for me, but I don’t have an Echo Dot in every room of the house. It would be really easy to just slip one of these Dreamegg machines onto my desk and give me that pleasant background noise.What I’d change:Honestly, the only thing I’d change is an option to keep the light on even after the sound shuts off.

I did a lot of research in order to find the best white noise machine for my first purchase, and this was my decision.Upon receiving the Dreamegg, i was first impressed with the sound fidelity from such a small form factor. I find it to be similar to my Google Nest Mini Home Gen 2. You can tell by the design of the speaker that thought went into the quality of sound. The machine has 3 different groups of sound , Fan , White noise, and Lullaby’s/ Nature. and each has a few to select from. I really only use the white noise or fan, but the other sounds seem high quality to me. Now reading other reviews may lead you to think that the all the different white noise selections are the same and not distinguishable from each other, but im here to say that is certainly not the case. The choices range from Low pitched white noise through to higher tones depending what you like, i prefer the low tones/pitch.Next is the night light which is just great! its not blindly bright, and its a nice warm colour. They really got this perfect if your a mother feeding, its not bright enough to read book but its perfect for checking on the baby, and it doesn’t hurt your sleepy eyes! Win Win!!
