Works way better than pills
I’m a Harvard trained MD (Anesthesiologist) with lumbar spondylosis and chronic back pain. I’ve been in practice for 26 years. I’ve had two prior back surgeries. I cannot, and will not, take opioids and or any medications that might impair my patient care abilities. No other types of medications, or injections, have helped me. I tried this TENS unit on a whim and it has changed my life. On bad days, I would suffer just to make it through the day. Now, I put this TENS unit on under my scrubs and it relieves my pain entirely!! I am fully functional without taking any pain medications. It’s a life saver. It’s easy to use and inconspicuous. The battery lasts a long time.The company that makes this device would probably have paid me a lot of money to write a review like this, because I treat peri-operative pain on a daily basis. But my review is unsolicited and I am receiving no monetary, or other type of compensation. I just thought they deserved the good feedback.Everyone is different. This, or any TENS unit, may or may not help you. Chronic pain is a very difficult condition that is challenging to manage medically for many people. But for $35, it’s worth a try.

LIFE SAVING!!
Update Oct 2025: The battery life on these devices have changed for the worst. Very unfortunate. I’ve been using these for over 9 years and so disappointed. I’ve gone through 2 & gifted one to my mom & they didn’t last us longer than 2 days. I used to keep one for over a year. I will no longer be purchasing.Review from 2022: I could not live with out these! I can clean house, drive, garden & even went to concert with one. I literally would be bed ridden or on pain pills if i was not on this device & flexerol. It’s easy to reach around and turn on and off for back pain. Start off low and slow…do not up it quickly. Obviously, if you sweat a lot the sticky pads will loose its sticky. Pro tip; I keep older one on hand that i wear when i know it is going to loose its sticky due to weather or activity level. Also, great for muscle stimulation. My doctor even told me i could even use this for constipation by placing on tummy to stimulate flow. I recommend these so much to friends, family & strangers. I’ve been thanked many times.

Darn Good!
I realized I’d had my previous TENS unit (with wires that were unruly – and batteries) for 10 years. Time for an upgrade. I was delighted to find a selection of wireless units that paired with an app. I chose this one because other reviews mentioned it was pretty effective and very easy to set up. Others looked more complicated and I don’t need more complication in my life. I’ve just used it for the first time and, yessiree it does pack a punch! I had to always crank up my old TENS unit to the highest level, but I can’t go to the highest level with this. It would be too much. And I LOVE no wires and no batteries to replace. Just charge it like I do my iPhone. And the setup out of the box truly was easy peasy.PROS: all of the aboveCONS: It makes an annoying beeping sound every. single. time. you tap the (+) icon to increase the intensity. Is that really necessary? After all, I can see the intensity visually on the app. Also, I don’t feel a noticeable difference between the “cupping” and the “massage” and the “malaxation” (is that supposed to be “relaxation”? Anyone? Buehler?) modes. So, that’s maybe a bit gimmicky. And what’s “scrapping therapy” mode supposed to be? Whatever. Doesn’t matter.All in all, I’m pleased with this upgrade from my old unit. A word of advice: go ahead and order the replacement pads so you have them on hand. Would be nice if they included an extra set. You can get replacement pads here on Amazon. Just type “ETP015” into the search bar and you’ll find them.

Excellent pain relief and no dangerous leads in the way!
I don’t write a lot of reviews so when I do, it means I am really enjoying the product I’m using. This TENS unit is great – as the top review from the Harvard physician put it, most importantly, it is inconspicuous, and there are no dangerous leads to get in the way of going about your daily responsibilities. However, I’ve also found that the pain relief is superior to other TENS units I’ve used. I would really recommend this if you’re living with any type of pain (for me, right now, sciatica). I bought the version that connects to your phone, which in my opinion was worth the extra money due to convenience (and if you are phone saavy, though the app is extremely easy to use). I really appreciate anything to relieve pain and am so grateful for this product 🙂

Portable relief
Wow! I bought this when I was in rehab for a back injury. It was much stronger than I thought it would be. The portability is perfect. Battery lasts a long time. It’s quiet and discreet. Replacement pads are a little pricey, but worth it. Option to control from an app is much easier than using the buttons on the device, at least for me.

Hab es gegen meine Schulter-Nackenverspannungen gekauft und ich bin positiv überrascht. Es ist einfach in der Anwendung. Man kann es allein anbringen und ablösen. Es ist groß genug und hält was es verspricht. Nach mehrmaligen Anwendungen klebt es immer noch gut.

Having used ones with wire in the past this is a blessing. It works really well and love that I can turn it on via my phone by an app. It does definitely help my pain but it returns as soon as it stops. That’s down to my back issues not the product. I would imagine its fantastic on muscle pain etc. It sticks very well, had no issues with that. I would definitely recommend it because if something can ease pain it’s always worth a try.

Bought as a back up to MyOovi, but this one works better. Plus, it’s much cheaper.Would definitely recommend as a pain relief for period cramps, muscle aches, and general pain management if you’re prone to aches and pains.
