Comfortable, stable, and easy to store
I’m pretty happy with this mat. The dimensions and thickness are as advertised and the larger size is great for yoga and pilates. It’s a nice upgrade from my roll-up one, since it provides great cushioning for various floor exercises. It doesn’t move around like my old one did, and it’s nice to have a mat that doesn’t curl at the edges.I like that I can simply fold it up to store under my couch. I also didn’t notice any off-gassing smells. It is definitely better quality than a previous foldable one I used, and the colour is definitely more pleasing – I think it will hold up well over time. I like that it’s waterproof so it won’t absorb sweat but can be wiped down after use.The price seems average for yoga mats of this size and thickness, so I would say it’s worth the $78 price-point.

Not so thick
While this mat is large it isn’t thick like it’s listed, no weird smell out of the box tho lol. Because it’s thinner support for arms and legs isn’t that great and with it being foldable I feel like it’s low durability could lead to a section rip. I honestly put my regular yoga mat over it and use it as a regular area mat.For the price I would say you can probably find another better mat for use

Thick, Comfortable, and Beautifully Designed Yoga Mat

Disappointing Mat
The mat’s density is insufficient, leaving imprints of my heels and palms. The grooves on the bottom and top, formed by folds, are even less dense, causing my foot to sink in. I could feel the grooves beneath my feet and hands. The mat’s grip power is weak. My foot only stayed stable when I applied force directly downward. In contrast, during poses or transitions involving angular forces, my foot gradually slid across, which is not a significant advantage considering the cost.

I received the WUWAN Foldable Yoga Mat through the Vine program and was immediately impressed. The extra-large 74.8″ x 40″ size is fantastic, giving me plenty of room for all my exercises without going off the mat.The 10mm TPE padding is perfect: it cushions my joints well during workouts but is firm enough for balance. The non-slip surface grips securely on both the floor and my hands/feet. The best part is that it folds flat instead of rolling, making storage incredibly easy and perfect for travel. It’s durable, high-quality, and a five-star essential for home workouts!

The Realities VS The Theory Don’t Add Up To A WIN For Us
Hmmmmm… While the theory is attractive, the result doesn’t quite measure up for a regular thick “yoga” mat.I was attracted to the “folding” function for giving knees and hands extra cushion for certain poses.I also liked that it folded in an accordian option; nice for storing under a bed a couch.The backside’s “pebble” gave me the impression of greater grip.The topside, in a muted dark olive-green, is a great neutral that won’t show dirt or smudges.The length and width are a plus.The realities:This was not comfortable or padded enough for my husband who likes to lie down on our non-carpeted den to stretch.Surprisingly, even folding over sections for my knees to rest upon (yoga/stretching) was not secure or cushioned enough.This mat is better on top of padded carpet for stretching, but we both still prefer our standard “thick” yoga mats for this for a cushier purpose. (Okay; we’re in our 70s too if that applies)I was also surprised that the pebble-backside didn’t grip was much doing a standard warrior pose. I didn’t feel secure to hold my pose.Dang!The mat will fold down and slide under the bed. If you want to store it folded/standing on one end, you’ll need to tie or bungie it to stay closed.I find that rolling my mat closed and slipping a carry-strap on it, is super easy and workable; so I wouldn’t consider transporting this to a class. It also isn’t “thick/cushy” enough as padding for a kid’s sleeping bag (if that’s an idea). The product page states it is 1.25 Kil … that is 3.86 pounds.Given the expense for the folding features and knowing what I know now, I wouldn’t get this. Perhaps due to our mature age with creaks, this may be GREAT for kids or younger adults.
