Hyaluronic acid also helps to boost collagen production, improving skin firmness.Retinol boosts cell turnover, revealing fresher looking skin, and also boosts collagen production.This cream also contains vitamin E as an antioxidant to help fight oxidative damage,Gotu Kola and dandelion root for firming, and aloe and shea butter for moisturizing.This cream goes on smoothly and gets absorbed quickly. I felt a little tingle at the application sites, which I recognized as the retinol working.Just a small amount is needed so this jar should last a long time. The price is fantastic; I’ve paid much more for smaller jars of similar skin care cream.I appreciate that this is cruelty-free, as I would not use anything that wasn’t, and it’s gentle enough to use with other retinol products, so I can use my serums under this cream and I don’t have to chose between one or the other.I use this every night before bed and every day under makeup and I have not experienced any irritation, dryness, or any side effects at all, only smoother, younger looking skin
