Noise machine with app control, downloadable sounds
I wanted to try a “noise” machine to help with sleep. You can find them all over the place in price but the ones that have “app” control and downloadable sounds seem to be at the upper end of the price range. What you get is basically the size of a small clock radio and it has a clock on the front of it. You can easily toss this in your bag for travel and it uses the same usb 5v 1 amp charger that many phones use (usb C at the device, A or C at the charger (a C to A cable is included but can be replaced or adapters used) if your charger is 2 amps or more that is fine it still works because current is draw, only dc voltage must be correct. When you pair it to your phone or tablet (bluetooth) it will automatically set the time. The unit has a number of buttons on it that appear to be reprogrammable. As it arrives in the box it is useful but the power of this device is that you can reprogram it plus all the timers. It also has a LED light ring on top that changes color and can be dim or bright. There’s a lot here to play with and to learn how to use, ten minutes out of the box I turned on the rain sounds and it ran all night. This speaker is “loud enough” and easily fills a typical 12×15 bedroom. Whether you want light rain outside the window or a pounding deluge you can probably find the right volume and the speaker is very nice with quality recordings so no static or distortion that I can hear anyway. It does have a wake function that I probably won’t ever use but it’s nice to know it’s there. Update: so far my favorite sound is the rain sound from the control panel. There are volume up/down buttons on the control panel. At least one of the reviews noted they had issues running this from another usb power adapter than the one it came with, I’ve had zero problems using the usb adapter built into my wall plug/extension cord. I would guess it’s a matter of current draw, your adapter/plug must be able to produce at least one amp or it may not work right. The book it comes with is basic but tells you most of what you want to know. It’s nice to note that the device can be used as a usb speaker for music etc. just by pairing it from your phone, no app needed. The sound is clear and distortion free even when turned up in volume, it might be called a bit pricey but I think it’s worth the price. The app adds all sorts of ability to set timers and on/off times etc. I doubt I’ll ever use all of that but other folks might.

The gentle, flowing water of the stream is rhythmic and constant enough to quiet my racing thoughts without being distracting. It completely masks the annoying background noises like the hum of the refrigerator or a distant siren. I’ve started using the simple breathing guide on the machine for a few minutes first, and it really helps signal to my body that it’s time to power down.My new routine is non-negotiable: a few minutes of breathing, then I tap the button. The sound of the stream and the dim light start up, and I’m out faster and sleeping more deeply than I have in years. This little machine has honestly changed my daily life because I’m finally waking up rested. My only very small suggestion would be for a travel case!If you’re tired of feeling tired, just try it. With so many sounds to choose from, you’re bound to find your own “”Mountain Stream”” that finally unlocks the deep sleep you need. It’s worth that one last try.

SO IMPRESSED WITH THIS LITTLE MACHINE!
I’m just blown away by how much this sound machine does! I originally bought it to help with winding down at night, but it has completely exceeded my expectations. I knew it had features, but I was genuinely surprised by how intuitive and EASY everything is to use!The app is a game-changer. I love being able to control everything from my phone. The variety of light colors is fantastic, and I really appreciate that the app suggests which colors are best for relaxation, sleep, morning restore or nursery. The library of sounds is incredible – there’s truly something for every mood.The best part is the scheduling. I’ve set a bedtime routine that starts automatically, blending a soft amber light with the sunset waves sound. It makes falling asleep so effortless.I am so thrilled with it that I’ve already decided this is going to be my go-to Christmas present this year! I’m planning to buy several for my family and friends. It’s a unique, thoughtful, and truly useful gift that anyone would appreciate.

Routines and pre-sets and great sound selection!
I have been looking for a new sound machine for a bit after using a phone app that definitely kills my battery over time. This one has some really neat features, including being able to set up routines, have the lights guide you for a breathing exercise and play sounds all night, and then turning off to wake you up. Loving the various sounds and the ease of setting it up through the app. Worth every penny.
