-7:00-17:59 Highlight
-18:00-22:59 Medium brightness
-23:00-5:59 the darkest brightness
-6:00-6:59 Medium highlight
During each period, you can manually reduce or increase the brightness by pressing the button, but when the new period starts, the brightness will be restored to the system’s preset brightness rules. Large Numbers!
This clock is a must have for people can’t see distance. My husband and I both have trouble reading our regular wall clock from 15 ft away. I decided to surprise him when I found it on Amazon. It’s perfect for us. Nice large numbers and bright enough to see from our dining room to living room. Love it!!

Very nice clock which just needs a little improvement to be perfect.
Users should know that this clock does not dim based on the darkness of the room. It dims based on the time of day. It says this in the description. If you don’t like the level of brightness it uses for a particular time period, then you simply have to adjust the level and the clock will remember it the next day (I haven’t tested it but that is what the desdcription says).The 2 things I can ding this clock for are 1) the buttons have multiple features on the back. This is confusing, like how do I make the button do the top function or the bottom function?? I would be happier if the buttons for setting what alarm tune to use were gone and there were more buttons to do basic things like set the time and alarm. Why have a button on top and on the back for brightness level? The one on top would be sufficient.2) The blinking light between hour and minute is very annoying. I almost returned the clock due to this blinking and it will annoy anyone as it blinks every second. I used some electrical tape over the lights to make them invisible. Much better now.The good points of this clock are the display is large and easy to read. You can set a level of brightness which is very pleasing and not overwhelming. The temp and date are OK I guess, but I would have purchased the clock if it didn’t have them. The colors of the nummbers are nice and the construction looks very nice.

I enjoy how this tells me the temperature of my room. I can dim the light just by tapping the top of it. Very easy to use. Would recommend to anyone. Worth every penny. Not to big just the right size for nightstand.

Nice clock, easy to see
Exactly as shown; good size. Display is clear and appealing. The brightness levels can be adjusted, we keep it on the lowest level becc it is bright. Sometimes the screen randomly goes off, like a power saving mode but not all the time, and I can’t seem to figure out how/why it goes off at different times. If you tap the screen it comes right back on though so not a big deal, all in all a solid purchase.

Nice big numbers that can be seen across the room. Easy to setup and change. Just hold down Time Set for a few seconds until the beep to start the process. Lots of levels of brightness so if you only use this as a clock at night you can dim it down and still see it.
