I purchased the NOW Foods Probiotic-10, 50 Billion, 50 Vcapsfrom Now Foods.I have been dealing with gastrointestinal issues for a while and my doctor suggested to take a Probiotic daily to create good flora in my stomach.I did a lot of research before selecting this brand and in my research this brand has all the strains that you need. Many other brands have some of these strains but not all and as comprehensive as this one. I have noticed a difference as I have been taking these for over a year now and my gastro issues have really quieted down.These are a great price compared to others and a high potency is what you really need. If you struggle with diarrhea or constipation give these a try I think you might be surprised.I do keep mine refrigerated to increase longevity and I know that some people were worried because it says to keep refrigerated and they send these products non-refrigerated. The company has stated in answers to people’s questions “these pills are freeze dried, fresh from their freezers in the morning the day we ship it to you, tested for stability well over 110 degrees and have to reach upward of 128 before damage occurs.”So you don’t have to worry, but to extend shelf life refrigerate them.I also like these pills because they are gluten free and although I do not have celiac, I choose a gluten free lifestyle to eliminate Gastro problems.I would recommend these to family and friends 5 starsExtra Tip: These were some comments from othersWe fulfill our own from the factory 3 miles away. definitely work, even though they don’t come refrigerated/cooled
I had an infection a year ago for which I was given antibiotics, and stupidly never took probiotics after. This type was recommended to me. I’ve had good experience with NOW brand in general, at least with their Vitamin D noticably raising my blood levels of Vitamin D.I was afraid that this bottle would be dead on arrival, bc it doesn’t come refrigerated or cold – and it took two weeks to come (in spring 2018 – I guess it’s lucky that this year it’s still going down to 40 dregrees F at night where I live, even in late April.) Anyway, once I got these I put them in the fridge and have been taking one a day on an empty stomach…how do I know something is happening? There has been a sudden onset of gas – every single day (I’ve been taking them for about a week or two). I know the cause doesn’t have to do with anything else, bc I haven’t changed my diet or anything else. Luckily I work for myself, from home – but the increase has been so sudden that I had to google “probiotics farting” (go to quora and type in “Why have I started farting a lot after taking probiotics?”) and sure enough saw that there is a connection. So these are definitely not dead and are doing their thing. I expect as my body adjusts the gas will go down – and I’m very happy to know that they are working.

Refrigeration Required
These probiotics require refrigeration, and Amazon does not ship these in ice packs, like other places do. I doubt they keep them refrigerated in their warehouse, either, so it’s hard to give these a fair rating. I don’t think I’ll be ordering these from Amazon again, though.

Good stuff
A nice cheap probiotic option. I rotate through different products on the regular and this one has a permanent spot in the rotation. Seems to do its job well.
