Hoping for lasting help with my wife’s COVID vaccine induced neuropathy
My wife developed peripheral neuropathy in her feet shortly after getting vaccinated for COVID. Various doctors have given various hypotheses about cause and effect but they all generally agree that because the cause is unknown, there is little that can be done about it. When the opportunity to try this RENPHO Brand foot massage was offered, I jumped at the chance to try and get her some symptom relief. No, it is not a cure, but so far with moderate use (a couple of times a day, every other day, for the past three weeks or so), the early results seem promising. The wife reports less pain and a reduction in the generalized tingling sensations she gets. Disclaimer – I am not a doctor and am in no way giving any medical advice as to how you should use this foot massager.My wife has size 8 feet of average width and this massager has more than enough room to accommodate them comfortably. My feet are men’s size 11 and relatively wide. They also fit comfortably in the machine. Although the liners can be removed and washed, we both wore socks (and would have anyway for hygiene purposes).The massager has a multitude of settings and it took us a while to figure out all the adjustments. The included operator’s manual leaves a little to be desired. Because of the circumstances under which we are using it, the wife only uses it at low settings and only for 15 minutes at a time. Since she uses it at her desk while working, she has the machine set on an angle with the toe end elevated. She says this is more comfortable than flat on the floor. The base has suction cups to hold it in place.The unit does emit some noise but not much and not loud. It is quiet enough to be used while on the telephone or a video conference.I do wish the power cord was longer – it is a touch under 6 feet which sounds like a lot but is not. A 10 foot would be much better and really not too big an ask for a premium priced product.Priced at $199 when I got this in October 2025, were it not for looking for a solution to my wife’s foot issues, I would consider this massager an extravagance. However, if I had a job where I was on my feet most or all of the day, I might feel differently. Great way to pamper your feet!
I have suffered with plantar fascia pain for over a year and purchased this to see if it would alleviate the pain. I find that it does (at least temporarily) and I look forward to relaxing with it each day. I wish the heat level was a bit higher, but I tried another model and it wasn’t much better. The compression function is very intense so I use that on the lowest setting and by itself.

Blissful
As somebody who works in their feet all day, I cannot recommend this product enough. At the end of a long day, working in a hospital and taking care of several young children this is the relief that brightens my day and helps me relax. I like the fact that it is warming and also compression it’s not just a simple massage. It is a moment of bliss for somebody who deserves it.

Not enough compression, not effective on heels
It does not compress as much if you are a 8 -9 shoe size. Also, it doesn’t do much on heels where I feel the most pain. I don’t recommend buying this one.

The Renpho Soheel Shiatsu Foot massager is pretty good to have around. It’s not as good as someone giving you a foot massage but for non-stop, shiatsu style massage that never gets tired I like it. It’s very easy to use.OverviewThe unit is a molded clamshell style soft case with carbon fiber pattern. It’s zippered in the center, and all of the electronics/hardware inside. There are air bags that inflate for pressure, on the instep and the heel and inflate and deflate to give some compression. On the bottom underfoot is where all of the kneading and massaging hardware resides.How it worksYou can push your feet to the front or to the rear for more intensity in those areas.The massager provides 4 levels of air pressure while kneading your feet on the instep(front), followed by 4 levels of air pressure and massaging for your heel(rear), followed by 4 levels of air pressure for the full foot front/back together while massaging. then repeats. Heat is also applied throughout the process.You can also choose to focus on front/back/both together full-time. There’s a Timer button, Air pressure, Knead and Power/Heat. he air compression on the foot is nice. I wish you could keep it on 1 level and make it stay there.Washable covers is a necessity and this has it. But recommend always wash feet prior and we wear socks.We’ve never owned one of these but happy with endless, don’t need anyone to help you foot massages. Make sure look at the other Renpho Shiatsu foot massagers before you pick one up, there’s about 6 more of them that are very similar.
