Piece of GARBAGE
Worthless. Ten times in a row and gives absolutely NOTHING MORE THAN WEIGHT.In addition instructions say to hold your arms out at 45° but it really is 60° and then you can get a reading sometimes once in a great great while. I have given up and I’m sending this piece of s*** back.Also even the weight measurement is totally inconsistent if weighing a few times in a row. I have a cheap less than $20 scale that is within half a pound of the doctor’s office scale and always gives me the same reading when I weigh a few times in a row.It seemed like it was working for a while and then it wouldn’t give me a reading 10 times in a row. Then I figured out to put my arms at 60° and to squeeze the handlebars really tightly and then it would work at least a little more than half the time. But now I literally just cannot get another reading off of it other than weight.Two HUNDRED DOLLARS is WAY TOO MUCH for a regular scale that gives only pounds

Guessing would be more accurate
I purchased the MorphoScan Nova based on the claim that the device correlates accurately with DEXA data. The idea was that I would monitor my progress between the DEXA Scans, however, after comparing my results against a DEXA scan, the results were exact opposite. MorphoScan reported I was athletic and lean, DEXA Scan reported I was overweight. Unfortunately the DEXA scan is correct.Both tests were done in the same clothing and in a fasted state.DEXA Scan reported: 36% Body Fat on December 30th at 7:30amMorphoScan Nova: 11.4% Body Fat on December 30th at 6:11amI reached out to support to make sure I was not doing something wrong and below was their canned response:Based on extensive testing, our 8-electrode scale shows approximately 98% correlation with DEXA scan results. However, individual readings can sometimes appear higher or lower due to factors such as hydration, recent activity, measurement timing, and personal physiology.Please be informed that our scales use bio-electrical impedance analysis(BIA) technology to offer you the data.Currently there are several popular methods other than BIA for measuring fat percentage. The two methods widely considered the “gold standard” are weighing in water and DEXA (Dual Energy X-ray Absorption method). However, even these two methods also often present discrepancies. That’s because fat is a special and complex tissue in the human body. It includes subcutaneous fat, visceral fat, and others, and is widely present in various parts of the body.Household body fat scale manufacturers mostly use the BIA measurement method. The readings are for your reference only. If you ask for a professional device, we suggest you go to a store that sells gym or medical equipment.It is suggested that users focus on relative changes in the value measured under the same situation over long periods of time. Sticking with the same assessment system will likely yield a better overall picture of a person’s health status. The relative changes of value is more meaningful than the absolute value of a single measurement.

Good scale but very breakable
I have had my scale for over a year and tonight I went to get on it and it shattered in a million pieces. It was a good scale that I loved until that happened. The app is nice and helpful when tracking your weight too!

Nowhere close to Dexa accuracy
They claim this device is 98% accurate to a dexa scan and I’m Calling BS.I just had a Dexa scan done on Tuesday. Scale arrived Friday.I did both scans upon waking and fasted.First two photos are from RENPHO AppLast photo is from my Dexa ScanDexa Scan Body Fat: 24.4%RENPHO Body Fat: 31.2%Dexa Lean Mass: 187lbsRENPHO muscle Mass: 169lbsDexa Trunk Fat: 33.6lbsRENPHO trunk fat: 45.8lbsDexa Arm Muscle: 26.5lbsRENPHO arm muscle: 21.2lbsFrom a Dexa scan accuracy standpoint…Wildly inaccurate.From a repetitive scan standpoint I got the same results every scan no matter the placement or positioning.If you are trying to get accurate results that correlate in the real world… this is not the machine.If you are looking for something to just track trends… verdict is yet to be seen.

You have to reach to the floor to pull up handles.
This would be wonderful if you are young. By the time I would bend down and pick up the handles it would shut off. I wasn’t expecting that.

Inaccurate
I was excited to receive it but I regret purchasing it. My weight can fluctuate by 5 lbs in an hour after eating a bag of popcorn. The weight should be in the same range after a bag of popcorn that is less than 500 calories.It’s nice that there’s an app connected to it. If I weigh myself without having the app open the app stores the weight and let’s me decide if I’d like to add it to my history or discard of it. I heavily doubt the accuracy of this scale so I do not recommend purchasing it
