Absorbs beautifully!
This is a great product and I’ve been using it for 4 years now. It keeps my skin soft and smooth, while also protecting me from the sun. Smells good, just nice and natural. I feel good knowing these are natural ingredients, and I’m still protected from UV rays.

Moisturizing: 5 Stars. So much better than some of the heavy creams. That said, I live in AZ and when it’s super dry I do follow up with a shea butter cream if I need more moisture.Sun Protection: 4 Stars. I only lasted 35 minutes in the springtime AZ sun before I started to feel the crispiness coming on. While wearing a hat. (But seriously, otherwise I use spf 70 spray because, I am super pale!)Scent: 5 Stars. Initially I went from using unscented creams and moved to this. I pumped some out and it was FRAGRANT! The smell almost knocked me over. -Remember, from unscented to this fragrant cream- Thankfully none of the aroma is from added fragrance, the ingredients are just fragrant.Other things of note: I love the packaging! a huge pet peeve of mine is jars of cream (they expect you to stick your fingers in there every day?? and it is supposed to stay…not icky?? Oh, right they use strong anti-bacterial/fungal agents…so that makes it…ok? -NO- Not on my face, thanks. )So, there is a pump. The opening has a bead. My young child can not bury things for me to find in my face cream at a later date. There are also no chemical preservatives, and the label says everything is natural, vegan, not tested on animals, and made in the USA. It also has an expiration date stamped on the bottom. :)Will absolutely buy again!!**Update- third time purchase, new packaging. Have not opened yet, will update with comparison of product when I do. =^.^=

I like the original better
So I first tried this product a month ago, but I o my tried it one time. My aunt had the unscented or original version, and I absolutely LOVED it. The next morning my skin was silky smooth and not oily at all. Desperate to find it, I searched all over town, and couldn’t find it anywhere. So I settled for this lavender one from Amazon. For some reason, I feel like they aren’t quite the same. The lavender one doesn’t seem quite as moisturizing to me, and to be honest the lavender scent is a bit too strong for my taste, but smells good nonetheless. It still leaves my skin so soft, and makes putting makeup on such a breeze.I love this moisturizer, but would like to see the original kind on amazon sometime. I docked a star from moisture because it’s very thick, more like paste, so it seems like you need to use a lot to feel the moisture. I didn’t rate the sun protection part because I live somewhere that’s very cloudy or overcast pretty much all the time during the winter, so I don’t think it would be fair to rate that part.

Best Lotion EVER!
Please never change the packaging and new formula (from Aug 2, 2022). The images now show a new bottle so I’m worried it’s changing, but I absolutely love everything about this lotion. I had been getting it for years. They recently changed it to a shorter pump tube with a more lightweight texture and an incredible smell. Ingredients are great, doesn’t break out my sensitive skin, it seems to offer decent sun protection, and absorbs into the skin nicely without leaving a thick greasy layer. I wear it under my makeup and sometimes as a night lotion too. My skin is always glowing, soft, and naturally refreshed.

I love the ingredients of this product, and the smell, and it absorbs very well and moisturizes all day without greasiness. I can’t comment about the sun protection since it doesn’t have an SPF rating, but I use this as an everyday moisturizer and feel like it’s giving me enough protection for those short amounts of time in the sun that add up (such as going to the car, etc.)(I use a high SPF sunscreen for longer amounts of time in the sun, such as golfing or going to the beach). At first, I didn’t like the packaging, because I couldn’t see how much of the product was left. However, it lasted FOREVER, so I removed the label to see and WOW!!! Rather than the usual tube pulling product from the bottom, which always leaves a bunch you can’t get…this pushes the product up so that you get every last drop!! I’ve finally found an everyday face moisturizer that I love!!!

Better as a body lotion.
As a face moisturizer, this didn’t work for me because it made me break out. The lotion is thick so I started using it as a body lotion instead. I love the way it makes my skin feel and I personally really like the smell. I didn’t like the pump dispenser though. Because the lotion is thick, it was harder than it should be to dispense the lotion. I would definitely recommend that they sell it in a jar/tub instead of a pump.

Finally, an all natural moisturizer with non-chemical sunscreen!
I’ve been searching for an all natural daytime moisturizer that contains a mineral sunscreen. This product does not disappoint! There are a few sticking points that I would like to mention ( full disclosure):The color is quite green, not an issue for me, but could be off putting for others.The smell is a very strong lavender scent, which I really like but might be too strong for others.When the cream is applied, it remains a bit sticky until it is completely dried.Even with these caveats, I love this product. I like the way it makes my skin feel, nice and soft. I like that it protects my skin from sun damage without chemicals or nano particles. I will definitely be reordering.

Clean ingredients but didn’t leave face feeling moisturized at all. In fact I had dry patchy spots. I wish I had opened & used it sooner so I could return it.
