How to Calibrated Gram Scale? 1.Turn on the scale and wait until the LCD display 0.00 then press and HOLD MODE Key for 3 seconds, The LCD will display ‘CAL’, Release the MODE key. 2.Press MODE key again, The LCS will flash display the required calibration weight. 3.Add the required calibration weight onto center of the plat form, the display will show ‘PASS’. GREAT little pocket scale, seems accurate, can use it for different weights and measures
It took a minute or two for the display to clear off, but it did. I calibrated it using the easy instructions on the lid. Don’t forget there is a small plastic piece in with one of the batteries in the back; if you don’t remove that, the machine won’t power on! It only weighs up to 200 grams at a time, but seems to be functioning just GREAT, I would say!

Great scale, especially considering the price
I collect coins (not extensively, but some small niche areas). For some of the coins, the only way to distinguish between two different series is their weight. An example would be some US 1-cent pieces that are made of mostly copper, while others are made of zinc with a copper coating. The only way to easily differentiate (e.g., 1982 pennies) is by weight, since the zinc 1-cent piece will weigh a few tenths of a gram less than the mostly copper one. This scale manages that just fine. Prior to this, all I had was a postal scale, which can only measure differences of one-tenth of an ounce, which is nowhere near sensitive enough to differentiate tenths of a gram.The scale comes with a test weight, to verify the scale is still accurate, and it has a way to re-calibrate the scale if needed. The device was received fully calibrated out of the box, after being shipped, handled, and bounced around on a delivery truck. This is often when things get wonky, and it was fine. My measurements were repeatable. Measuring the same thing multiple times, during the same power-on cycle, or after powering down and powering back on, provides the exact same readings each time. The test weight also measured exactly dead-on to what it was marked to be.I chose this version as opposed to other similarly priced scales, because the device was designed into a self-contained box with a hinged hard lid, which protects the measuring surface. When closed, this prevents anything from impacting or breaking the delicate parts. Some competing scales were without a lid, and would need to be carefully handled to not overstress the measuring platen.I cannot address whether or not the scale can meet various standards for accuracy for trade, or pharmaceuticals, etc., but for hobby use, it seems more than adequate, and the price is great for what you get.

Accurate little scale for my tissue culture work
I got this scale specifically for my tissue cultures, and it’s been great so far. It’s small, easy to store, and seems really accurate compared to my larger lab scale. It turns on quickly and is simple to use, which is all I really need. Definitely worth having if you work with small measurements

Great Scale – Just the wrong kind
Works great just NOT what I needed it for, I didn’t realize it was 0.01. I needed 0.001 so unfortunately I’ll have to order a different kind, however i’ll store this one in my kitchen for baking uses, or something. But it works great, cute & super easy to calibrate, it’s small & compact so very easy to store away. Just make sure to turn it off, because It does not auto shut off when you close the lid, which will drain the battery quickly. The scale light is bright & easy to read, I mean for the price you can’t beat it. I just wish I would of read closer & realized it’s 0.01 & not 0.001

So easy to use. I’m a knitter and use the scale to determine if I have enough yarn to knit another row. Which I use all the time during my knitting when I’m about to change to a new ball. I like to change a ball on the edge of the work. I weigh the ball, knit a row and then weigh it again. This tells me how much yarn I use to knit a row. Just love it. I also use it when dividing yarn into two equal balls. It is accurate and portable. It works very well.
