Nice Display with Time, Temp, and Date
Love that this shows the time, temperature, and date. Very easy to connect, set up, and use. I like that there are options for how the display looks and can pick from a choice of display color themes. Good sound quality when playing my music. Works great and as expected. Black color blends in nicely with my decor. Love it.

The Wonderful Echo Spot
This is a great device, the first time we’ve added to our Alexa collection around the house in years. It replaced a small digital clock on the counter in the master bath at the house… and what a difference! Much better clock, more elegant and easier to read, and the device provides the date, and capable of providing much more than that. But just out of the box, great!Unlike the clock it replaced, this does require an AC outlet, which we knew from what Amazon was showing in the description. But this is well worth giving up one outlet on the counter in the bath.Sound quality is good if not great for the size, and more than adequate to upgrade the master bath and open up music, news, timers, digital books we enjoy from audible (an Amazon company), etc. Super. Everything is hands free, which is great when your hands are wet in the bath or kitchen, etc. And setup really was a breeze, for users like us who already have Alexa devices in the house. Right out of the box, it found our WiFi (with an impossible password) and didn’t need any help from us hooking right up to our WiFi automatically and we were good to go!Finally, the price was right! These devices are priced very reasonably on Amazon, with no middle man, so to speak.Highly recommended. Enjoy!

Love the look. I bought the base for an extra USB PORT. Has a nice sound. Now I have 3 different ecos so I can walk around the apt n still hear music while doing house chores. Time, temperature, on face in of item. Voice line shows when she’s listening.Also shows what song is playing by who. Love it. Happy purchase n easy set up.

Great for the nightstand
I’m new to Alexa and got this so I can have this on my nightstand with time display and the temperature . Also play my music when cleaning my bedroom and changing the sheets. I’ve used Alexa to turn the heater up or down. Since I’m new to Alexa I know I’m not using it fully since I don’t have smart things around the house, but it’s a start. Setting it up was easy and I went through all of the Alexa app settings to get familiar with it. The voice control is nice with no issues. The sound for my music sounds great and has a 3 band equalizer in the app. The display shows your current weather with the temperature and clouds or rain or shine.Value for the price would depend on how much Alexa functions you use. But I like it all the same even as nightstand alarm clock with Alexa.

A Modern 21st Century Smart Item That is Reliable
This is a great alarm clock and was lucky that I found it on sale. It seems durable as I have knocked it off the nightstand accidentally and it still works. Connects very easily to Tidal and Apple Music. It’s been very reliable as I haven’t overslept since I have it set to wake me up to EDM music. Has good sound for a very small enclosure. This is a great item for the connected home in the 21st century.

Fits the perfect spot, in many ways.
I was looking to replace a 2023 model Echo Show 5, since it was beginning to lag a little: after the Alexa+ update, the responses/notifications were arriving on the 2020 Echo about a half-second/second before arriving on the Echo Show 5 …which was REALLY irritating. The 2024 Echo Spot perfectly fits the bill: compared to the Echo Show 5, the size is slightly smaller (which is fine), it still has a visual component for what’s necessary (time/temperature/weather), the sound is just as good, and the hardware is faster/better; moreover, compared to the newer (and larger) Echo Shows, it’s substantially smaller and less expensive, which is good. All things considered, it’s the perfect solution for what I needed.

El modelo en sí, es muy vistoso, tiene acabados muy elegantes y de buen material, el sonido tiene una diferencia de 3 decibeles más en comparación con el echo dot 5ta., realmente no es mucha la diferencia, sin embargo se alcanzan a apreciar un poco más los bajos.La pantalla touch definitivamente le aporta mucho, se puede cambiar la apariencia del reloj, los niveles de brillo y control de música.El tamaño es un 30% más grande que el echo dot 5ta., supongo que es para compensar la ubicación de la bocina, debido al tamaño de la misma.El voltaje de uso en promedio es de 2.5 watts con brillo máximo…ya en modo música vol. 10, alcanza un promedio de 3.6 watts, lo cual ahorra bastante energía para la potencia que mantiene!El modo nocturno es conveniente si te molesta la luz de la pantalla por las noches, la pequeña desventaja es que esta no se puede apagar en su totalidad, pero realmente no es molesto, ya que la pantalla tiene tecnología de ahorro y baja luz.(Actualización, ya incluyeron el apagado de la pantalla, se agradece muchísimo)El mostrar las carátulas de las canciones es bastante bueno, sin embargo: no me agradó, que al reproducir música, las carátulas de las canciones se mantienen todo el tiempo.Solución: le tienes que dar la indicación: “Alexa, inicio” para que nuevamente muestre el reloj.Por lo que, si de alguna forma te interesa escuchar música y ver tu reloj al mismo tiempo desde una distancia de más de 2 mts. Será casi imposible visualizar el pequeñito reloj que aparece sobre las carátulas de la música…espero tengan alguna actualización a ese detalle.En general estoy muy contento, definitivamente vale la pena!Por mi parte yo le daría un 4.7 en general.Iré actualizando si descubro más detalles en pro o vs.Actualización:-Añadieron el apagado de pantalla (se agradece mucho!).
