Bright, Uplifting Light; Minor Issue with USB-C Disconnecting
I’ve been using this sun lamp for a short time, and I’ve already noticed a positive shift in my energy and motivation. After each session, I feel more alert and ready to get moving, which is exactly what I hope for from a light therapy device (especially during the darker winter months).The brightness options and ease of use are great, and the light itself feels natural and comfortable to sit with. As a therapist, I often recommend sun lamps to clients who struggle with Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), and this one delivers the benefits I typically look for.My only issue, and the reason for a 4-star rating, is that the USB-C cord disconnects from the back of the lamp very easily, which causes it to shut off unexpectedly. It’s a small design flaw, but it happened enough times to be noticeable, especially if you shift the lamp or the cord gets bumped.Overall, this is an effective and uplifting sun lamp with clear mood-supporting benefits. If the USB-C port were more secure, it would be an easy 5 stars.

I’ve been using this light for a bit now and I’m honestly really impressed. It’s super simple to use, which I love. Just tap it on, adjust the brightness, and go. I like that it has different light tones because I can switch depending on the time of day or how my eyes are feeling.It’s bright without being harsh, and I appreciate that it’s UV free. I usually use it in the mornings while I’m getting ready or sitting at my desk, and it really helps me feel more awake on slower, gloomy days. Great “sun”light
I love this little light! It’s compact but really bright. Perfect for gloomy mornings or when I’m working inside all day. ALSO my gf uses while she is putting make up on. The adjustable brightness and color options are great, and I like that it has a timer so I don’t have to think about turning it off. The stand is easy to adjust and the touch controls work smoothly. Not good for seasonal mood disorder
I experience a change/lower mood each year from November to January apparently due to less sunlight. I have purchased sunlamps in the past that have worked well to elevate my mood. I typically use for 20 minutes each morning and they offer a noticeable improvement. This particular item simply did not have the effect that my prior LED fluorescent style light did. The flat panel light does not have the strength intensity that my prior 10,000 lux had. I would not recommend this particular light for those with seasonal mood disorder. It however is fine for a desk light.

I live in where sun doesn’t come out often during winter especially this winter, so have been dying to find some fake sunlight to wake me up and maintain normal circadian rythm. The packaging does not really feel professional and convincing but at least it’s clean and tidy and comes with a usb cable and a Qualcomm charger(power source).Fingers crossed it’s working as intended and truly UV free.

Seems to do what it claims to do, and is less than half price of items that look identical. However, some claim to have tested it and found it does not live up to its claim of 10000 lumens? It would be good if this company could add some test reports to validate their claims. I use it on mornings when it’s too cold or wet to go outside, to get the circadian rhythm benefits of morning light. We are coming into Winter in Australia and I am prone to pretty bad winter blues, so I will use it throughout the day too. The only thing is that the cord is too short. For a device that needs to be fairly close to your face, they should allow for more cord length, otherwise they assume that your face generally hovers close to a wall, which defies logic. The last quibble is that it claims to remember your settings so you don’t have to repeatedly choose them each time you turn it on. How??? There seems no way to do this and since I always use it on the brightest setting I have to tap button 1 twice, turn button 2 three times, every single time I turn it on. These are the 3 reasons why I removed one star.
