Okay, so this lamp is basically like having a tiny, well-behaved sun living on your desk 😎, which is great when you live in a place where the actual sun forgets to show up for like, three months straight. It’s super slim and small, honestly thinner than my favorite notebook, so it doesn’t hog up all the precious real estate on my tiny apartment desk. It even has this little stand on the back that props it up perfectly, but you can also just lay it flat if you want, which is very flexible. The light it puts out is really bright and clean, like opening the curtains on a perfect summer morning, but you can easily adjust the brightness with a simple tap, which is handy because sometimes I feel too sensitive for max-brightness. It also has different settings for how long it stays on, which is good because I usually forget I turned it on in the first place, and then I’m just bathing in daylight at 9 PM and wondering why I can’t sleep 🤷♀️. What I really appreciate is that it plugs in with a regular USB cable, so I can power it using my laptop or even a portable battery pack if I want to move my little sun-box to a different room, which makes it totally versatile. I use it every morning while I’m drinking my coffee and reading the news, and I noticed I’m not constantly squinting or feeling like I’m working in a dungeon anymore, which is a major win for my eyeballs. If you want a small light that’s easy to use and makes a real difference in your space, you too should try this thing, it’s a little powerhouse.

The sobriety switch on rainy days
When I work from home in the winter, the window outside the window is often gray. I placed this lamp next to the computer, and the desktop suddenly became much cleaner. Before the meeting in the morning, I will turn on the bright cool white mode, set it for 20 minutes, and slowly get into the state while reading emails, so that I will no longer feel drowsy. When your energy levels drop in the afternoon, switch to balance mode. The light is soft but not tiring. The touch control is very smooth, and the memory function is also considerate. Every time I turn it on, it is the brightness I am used to, which has become a fixed rhythm in my workday.
