It’s not sugary sweet, which I like
I saw this new product and decided to give it a try as I like to supplement my beverages from time to time with a different electrolyte mix. I’ve also tried a couple of other Vitafusion products in the past and thought this was a reputable brand.What I like about this product:-The individual serving packets are handy if you are on the go.-The flavor tastes like watermelon and it smells fruity sweet, but it doesn’t have a sugary sweetness. Either way, it will flavor your water.-I didn’t notice much of a bitter aftertaste and thought it was minimal on my palate (& according to my DNA test results, I have the genetic disposition of tasting more bitter compounds than others).-The ingredients list intrigued me, primarily the use of different fruit and vegetable powders (ex: apple, orange juice, pineapple, banana, carrot, and sweet potato powder) and I noticed the use of soluble corn fiber and acacia gum in the list are probably the essential ingredients that contribute to the product’s dietary fiber.What I didn’t like:-It does tend to clump. So make sure you’re paying full attention when you are giving this powder a good stir in your cup of water.-For about $1.67 per stick, the price point seems a little high for me. I could very well just consume a multivitamin for much less. I’d recommend keeping an eye out for any promo discounts on this product.It’s too soon to tell if there was a remarkable change in my digestion and energy level, but overall I had a positive experience with this product. Price aside, I think this is worth giving a try.

Felt So Much Better Being Sick but Not Dehydrated This Time
I hate being sick, but I think for the first time in my life, I managed the virus. I had by using this Powder to keep me from getting dehydrated.I never realized dehydration could cause so many symptoms but using this powder with a lot of water really helped me get through the illness without being too miserable.Tastes great too‼️👍

Vitafusion Hydraboost Drink Powder Packets- Great Vitamins and Nutrients
As someone who has a difficult time getting enough vitamins and nutrients a day, I love the idea of these. The 5 grams of fiber, 1.7 mg of B6 and 100 mcg of B12 specifically helps with three that I struggle to get in every day.The initial taste of watermelon is good and reminded me a bit of the popular kids powder drinks. However, about 10 seconds after a sip, I get a bad taste in my mouth that ends being the aftertaste. I believe some of this may be because I had a difficult time getting the powder to dissolve. Whether stirring or shaking, I wasn’t able to get all of the clumps out and they would taste super strong with a weird chemical taste.I was hoping it was what I was drinking it with so I tried it in both water and lemon lime soda. They tasted the same but with the soda being a bit stronger.That said, it’s not horrible, it’s just not something I wouldn’t normally choose to drink just for the taste. I really like the idea of being able to get B6, B12, and some fiber in with this though, so I’m going to finish the package out and look for other flavors.As for value, the price seems a bit steep. Even if I loved the taste, I’m not sure I’d spend this amount for 15 servings.I’m giving four instead of five stars because of the powder dissolving and value. Seeing other comments, I think the aftertaste is just a personal taste thing with me rather than a problem. Overall, if the taste worked out for someone, it would be a fantastic way to get additional vitamins and nutrients in each day.

Bad taste and clumps
I like hydration drink mix packs as they contain some good benefits. When I saw this one from Vitafusion I just had to try it and had high hopes. First, the watermelon flavor is barely there and taste very artificial. Second, this does not dissolve well at all, clumps are left floating around and by time you finish drinking there is all this left over residue. Very disappointed with this product and will not continue to use.

Good Hydration Benefits, But the Taste & Texture Take Getting Used To
I’ve been trying these Hydraboost packets for daily hydration, and I have mixed feelings. The flavor is okay, but it definitely has a taste you need to get used to. It’s not overly sweet like Liquid I.V., which I actually appreciate, but it also doesn’t taste as clean or refreshing — it has more of a “functional” vitamin-type flavor. You can taste the watermelon flavor but more like candy flavor.What surprised me most is the texture. It’s noticeably thicker than most electrolyte drinks and ends up feeling more like a very thin smoothie or a watered-down Naked/Bolthouse Farms juice rather than a typical sports drink. It’s not bad, just unexpected, and might not be for everyone if you prefer something light and watery.Directions state to use 8-16 oz of water. It mixed pretty well in my 16.9 oz water bottle. It does has some unmixed at the bottom but it’s not too badThat said, I do like that it isn’t super sugary, and I like the added vitamins, prebiotic fiber, and hydration support. I’ll probably finish the box, but I’m not sure I’d repurchase unless I really wanted the extra nutrition — this is more of a health drink than a refreshing one.
